Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Department of Pathology at our organization is in search of a full-time, tenure-track academic surgical pathologist. As a tertiary care facility, we support various programs at the College of Medicine, catering to medical students, graduate students, and residents across multiple disciplines. Our Pathology Department offers training programs for AP/CP residents, pathologists' assistants, and laboratory technicians.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage in primary clinical duties at our facility alongside fellow anatomic pathologists.
- Deliver high-quality education to residents and medical students, showcasing exceptional teaching abilities.
- Explore opportunities for independent or collaborative research, with an expectation to build a robust publication record.
- Provide services from Monday to Friday, with on-call duties every sixth weekend.
- M.D. or an equivalent degree is required.
- Board certification in AP/CP is mandatory.
- Eligibility for licensure in Ohio is essential, along with proven excellence in teaching and significant scholarly contributions.
