The YAI Network (www.yai.org) is an award winning, nationally acclaimed network of eight not-for-profit, independent health and human service agencies with a combined budget of $285 million. For over 54 years, the YAI Network has provided a place of hope and opportunity for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, including autism, down syndrome, mental retardation, and their families. We serve individuals of all ages throughout the New York metropolitan area, Long Island, New Jersey, and Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Sullivan, Dutchess and Ulster counties, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. One of the most comprehensive organizations of its kind, the YAI Network has more than 5,600 staff who serve 20,000 individuals in over 450 community-based programs. The network has received numerous awards for its positive work environment and is recognized nationally for its conferences, training seminars and publications.
