The National Association of Charter School Authorizers (NACSA) is an entrepreneurial public education reform organization dedicated to strengthening the charter school sector and to transferring best practices from the charter sector to improve all of public education. NACSA is also a professional membership organization whose members includes those organizations who approve and oversee the nation's charter schools. NACSA's work over its ten year history has focused on the establishment of industry standards of quality practice, the development and communication of resources of use to authorizers and policy makers, the provision of professional consulting services to improve authorizing practice, and the advocating of improvements to federal and state policy to improve the overall environment for authorizing and education reform. The organization is experiencing a period of significant growth in membership, programs and revenues, recently securing over $9 million of philanthropic investments to support its work.
