The OCG supports the scholarly and creative pursuits of faculty, students, and staff through external and internal funding opportunities, maintaining a strong faculty grants portfolio that includes sponsored research from the NSF, NIH, NEH, American Chemical Society, among others. Join our newly reorganized office as we work to expand this portfolio and develop creative ideas for engaging all our faculty, at all career stages, in fellowship and grant opportunities.

  • Monitor faculty grant administration and lead efforts to establish effective and compliant policies and procedures for faculty grants. Serve as grants compliance liaison between the OCG and other fiscal compliance stakeholders at the College and external funding agencies and provide support and resources for efforts to establish effective policies and procedures related to grant administration and grant compliance.
  • Collect and organize relevant data sets about faculty research activity, prepare standardized statements and information for the faculty as a whole, for divisions and for departments to support proposal development.
  • Provide post-award support to faculty members in collaboration with the Grants Management Coordinator.
  • Collaborate with  counterparts in College Advancement for opportunities that may bridge faculty grants and potential gifts/awards through Corporate & Foundation Relations, as determined by the Executive Director of the OCG.
