Description
The School District of Tomahawk is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and visionary High School Principal to lead our school community toward continued excellence in education. As the educational leader, the ideal candidate will embrace the values of our school while fostering a supportive and engaging environment for students, staff, and parents.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing visionary leadership to create a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Implementing and overseeing education programs aligned with state standards and the school’s mission, vision, and strategic plan.
- Supervising, supporting, and evaluating teachers and staff to ensure high-quality instruction.
- Fostering a collaborative and supportive environment among teachers, staff, students, and parents.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders.
- Manage the school’s budget and resources effectively.
- Implement and enforce school policies in alignment with district regulations.
- Ensure a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff
Qualifications:
- Must possess or be eligible for DPI certification 5051 - Principal.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and a clear educational vision.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Knowledge of current educational trends, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices.
- Experience with staff supervision, evaluation, and professional development
